Patrick’s passion for sports started at an early age playing sports and attending Cleveland sporting events. Through the support of many people in his life, he was able to transition that unconditional and unwavering passion for sports into a career. He’s grateful for the career that he’s had and passionate about sharing his own professional experiences, fostering an interest in working in the sports business with students and creating career opportunities for others.
Travis Misner is the Manager of Partnership Development for Hornets Sports & Entertainment (HSE), a role he has served in since 2018. Travis is responsible for generating revenue by actively finding companies that can leverage the HSE business portfolio (Charlotte Hornets, Spectrum Center, Greensboro Swarm, Hornets Venom GT) in order to grow their business. Utilizing sponsored assets like signage, television, radio, premium tickets, hospitality, sweepstakes, and social media, Travis helps partner companies create a road map to help achieve their specific business goals and objectives. Prior to the Hornets, Travis worked as the Corporate Partnerships Manage for the Kalamazoo Growlers, a summer collegiate baseball team competing in the Northwoods League, and also spent time working in college athletics at Ohio University, and Northern Illinois University, respectively. Travis received his MBA and Master of Sports Administration from Ohio University, and his bachelor of arts in Physical Education & Teaching from Loras College. While a student at Loras, Travis was a baseball student-athlete and served on the NCAA Division III Student Athlete Advisory Committee, representing the voice of Division III student-athletes on topics such as new legislation, community affairs, championships, and international relations. Travis and his wife Jacqui live in Charlotte, with their 4 year-old dog Murphy.
Michelle Gulino is heading into her third season with the Dallas Cowboys Football Club as a Manager of Corporate Partnership Marketing. In her role, she is responsible for retaining and growing corporate partnership revenue while strategically delivering on partnership and business objectives. Michelle has tackled large, multi-hundred million-dollar brands complex business challenges head on & delivered results. While managing strategic partnerships and retaining their business, she has built strong relationships with C-level executives, strategized and executed national/local marketing campaigns, and constructed key business to business initiatives at a global brand. Prior to Michelle’s move to the DFW area, she worked on the partnership marketing team at Chip Ganassi Racing across NASCAR partnerships in Charlotte, NC. Michelle also has a passion for growing and advancing women in the sports industry. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the DFW Chapter of Women In Sports and Events (WISE)- the nationally recognized leading voice and resource for professional women in the business of sports. In this role, Michelle contributes to the growth of the DFW Chapter and leads efforts in providing value for WISE’s membership. She is also currently an adjunct professor of Sport Marketing at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks. Michelle is a proud Ohio University Master of Sport Administration alumni and currently lives in Frisco, TX with her partner Kelsey and their two Golden Retrievers.
